Do I need a consultation before booking?
A consultation is built into every appointment.
We will review your goals, medical history, skin type, brow measurements, and expectations before any work begins. If you have previous brow tattooing, please send a clear photo before booking.
Who is not a candidate for PMU?
For your safety, PMU is not recommended if you are:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Using Accutane (or have used it within the past 12 months)
- Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
- Experiencing active eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis on the brow area
- Prone to keloid scarring
- On blood thinners (unless cleared by your physician)
Can I get PMU if I have previous microblading or tattooing?
Yes - but it must be assessed.
If the previous work is:
- Too saturated
- Too dark
- Too uneven
- Too scarred
Removal may be recommended first.
This ensures your new brows heal beautifully and naturally.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
To ensure the best possible results:
- 24-48 hours before - Avoid caffeine, pre-workout, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications (unless prescribed)
- 2 weeks before - Avoid Botox in the forehead/brow area
- 7 days before - Avoid retinol, AHAs/BHAs, and exfoliants. No tanning or heavy sun exposure
- 5-7 days before - Do not wax, tint, or laminate your brows 5–7 days before your appointment
- Hydrate well and arrive with clean skin
This helps your skin stay balanced and receptive to pigment.
Should I avoid getting my brows done around my period?
If possible, yes.
You may be more sensitive to discomfort and swelling during your menstrual phase.
I have oily skin - am I still a candidate?
Microblading works well for most skin types. However, clients with very oily or textured skin may experience softer results or require more frequent touch-ups.
However, some techniques are better suited for certain skin types.
Oily skin may heal more softly with nano hair strokes or powder/ombre, rather than traditional microblading.
During your consultation, I assess your skin and recommend the most suitable technique for long-lasting, natural results.

What if I’m late?
A grace period of 10 minutes is offered.
